CAMP WAYFARER IS THE PERFECT SUMMER CAMP FOR HORSEBACK RIDING.
Camp Wayfarer is a co-ed summer camp in North Carolina. The Equestrian Program at Camp Wayfarer is offered to any child interested in learning more about the English style of horseback riding. Whether a camper is a beginner or advanced rider, our program is designed to help encourage new skills, while promoting safe horsemanship and care of the animals. Throughout the session, children will have the opportunity to learn basic horse care skills, sharpen their riding skills in our multiple riding rings, enjoy trail rides, play games, and so much more! Because of our small class sizes, our campers riding levels are catered to on a one-to-one basis, allowing for a more specialized riding experience. Our teaching technique encourages campers to experience success in graduated steps, promoting self-esteem and independence skills. We pride ourselves on providing a fun and safe experience, where children can enjoy themselves in a non-competitive environment.
